Line Dancing Instructor
About the position
We are seeking a passionate Line Dancing Instructor to join our team at the Welland Community Centre. As a Line Dancing Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and conducting line dancing classes for participants of varying skill levels and ages. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in line dancing, and the ability to create a fun and inclusive learning environment.
- Plan and prepare line dancing lessons that cater to the needs and skill levels of participants.
- Create a welcoming environment to all participants.
- Instruct and demonstrate line dancing techniques and choreography.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to participants to enhance their skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during classes.
- Maintain a clean and organized dance studio or classroom space.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience as a Line Dancing Instructor.
- Proficiency in various line dancing styles and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
