Easter Hours

Stay up to date with what’s open and closed this Easter, Friday, April 18, 2025, and Monday, April 21, 2025.

  • City Hall -All City Hall departments will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025, and Monday, April 21, 2025, and will re-open on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
  • Public Works - Will be closed.
  • Welland Community Centre - Closed on Friday, April 18, 2025, Sunday April 20, 2025, and Monday April 21, 2025.
    The facility will be open Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
    Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
  • LIV Communities and Jack Ballantyne (YOUTH) Arenas - Will be closed Friday, April 18, 2025, and Sunday April 20, 2025.

Taxes and/or Water - Payment of bills may still be made by utilizing the drop box located at the easterly front entrance of Civic Square, 60 East Main Street.

Parking tickets - payments can now be made using Visa or MasterCard through our online service at www.welland.ca/parking/onlinepayments.asp (please allow for two business days, for your ticket to be processed and added to the online payment system).

In the event of an urgent road, water, sewer, facilities, or forestry problem, please call the City’s 24-hour response line at 905-735-1700 x3000.
