Canada Day Hours

Stay up to date with what’s open and closed this Canada Day Holiday, Monday, July 1, 2024.

  • City Hall -All City Hall departments will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024, for Canada Day.
  • Public Works - Will be closed.
  • Empire Sportsplex
    • Saturday, June 29 - open from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m
    • Sunday, June 30 - open from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m
    • Monday, July 1 - open from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m
  • The Docks, Rec Rentals
    • Saturday, June 29 - open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m
    • Sunday, June 30 - open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m
    • Monday, July 1 - open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m
  • Welland Community Centre - Will be closed.
  • Main and Jack Ballantyne (Youth) Arenas - Will be closed.

Taxes and/or Water - Payment of bills may still be made by utilizing the drop box located at the easterly front entrance of Civic Square, 60 East Main Street.

Parking tickets - payments can now be made using Visa or MasterCard through our online service at www.welland.ca/parking/onlinepayments.asp (please allow for two business days, for your ticket to be processed and added to the online payment system).

In the event of an urgent road, water, sewer, facilities, or forestry problem, please call the City’s 24-hour response line at 905-735-1700 x3000.
