Stay up to date with what’s open and closed this Victoria Day Holiday, Monday, May 20, 2024.

  • City Hall -All City Hall departments will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2024 and will re-open on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
  • Public Works - Will be closed.
  • The Docks, Rec Rentals - Opening Weekend, weekends only throughout June.
    • Saturday, May 18 - open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m
    • Sunday, May 19 - open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m
    • Monday, May 20 - open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m
  • Welland Community Centre -
    • Saturday, May 18 - open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m
    • Sunday, May 19 - open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m
    • Monday, May 20 - closed
    • Tuesday, May 21 - regular hours will resume
  • Main and Jack Ballantyne (Youth) Arenas - Will be closed.

Taxes and/or Water - Payment of bills may still be made by utilizing the drop box located at the easterly front entrance of Civic Square, 60 East Main Street.

Parking tickets - payments can now be made using Visa or MasterCard through our online service at www.welland.ca/parking/onlinepayments.asp (please allow for two business days, for your ticket to be processed and added to the online payment system).

In the event of an urgent road, water, sewer, facilities, or forestry problem, please call the City’s 24-hour response line at 905-735-1700 x3000.
