LoBosco-Foote House

Built in 1931, this house shows strong influences of the Prairie style. Characteristics of this style are the strong horizontal eaves, grouped windows, tall chimney, and geometric glazing of the original windows. The interior shows a strong Italian influence in style and materials.

The house retains its original oak woodwork and hardwood floors. The living room has intricate plaster cove ceiling moulding and a 1930s brick fireplace with an original electric fire. An imported Italian ceiling, side light fixtures, and hand-painted brass curtain rods throughout the house are original, as are the fixtures and Italian tile of the second-floor bath.
