Tuesday November 19, 2025 South Pelham Road will be closed between Woodlawn and Foss/Countryside to conduct an emergency sewer lateral replacement.

Notice of construction - First Avenue Road Closure

• First Avenue Road Closure

Please be advised that First Avenue, between Woodlawn Road and Rolling Acres, will be closed from Tuesday, November 12, at 6 a.m. until further notice. This closure is for an emergency sewer repair and local traffic is permitted within the closure but only outside of the work zone.

Notice of construction - Quaker Road Sanitary Trunk Sewer Upgrade

City of Welland and Town of Pelham Quaker Road Closure

• Quaker Rd Closure - Notice 1

Niagara Region will be constructing a new sanitary trunk sewer along Quaker Road between Pelham Street and Rice Road in the City of Welland and Town of Pelham. The new 600mm sanitary trunk sewer was identified as a long-term system improvement, which provides sanitary sewer relief along Quaker Road connecting the Pelham Street Regional sanitary sewer to the outlet sewer east of Rice Road. This will provide adequate capacity for future sanitary flows.

Construction from January 2024 to May 2025

Road Closure - Welland Santa Claus Parade

On Saturday November 23, 2024 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. East Main Street will be closed from Wellington Street to King Street for the Santa Claus parade.
