Youth Innovations

Youth Innovations is a dynamic, free drop-in center for youth ages 13 to 18.

The space offers various amenities, including Xbox, Wii, and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles, a pool table, an air hockey table, a ping pong table, a foosball table, and a classic Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine.

A dedicated board game area features a range of games for group play, while a cozy reading nook with bean bag chairs provides a quiet place to enjoy a good book. Computers are also available for schoolwork, browsing, or creative activities.

Hours of operation

  • Monday: closed
  • Tuesday to Friday: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer month hours

The centre is open Monday to Friday 12 to 8 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Christmas break

Extended hours for Christmas break will be posted separately.

The center offers a safe, inclusive environment where youth can connect, explore, and engage in recreational activities.

Code of conduct

All visitors are expected to exhibit positive behavior and adhere to the following rules for a safe and enjoyable environment at Youth Innovations:

  • Respect the dignity and spirit of all other visitors and staff.
  • Refrain from using alcohol, illicit drugs, or smoking devices.
  • Refrain from using abusive or foul language.
  • Refrain from causing bodily harm to one’s self, other visitors, or staff.
  • Refrain from damaging equipment or supplies.
  • Sign in at the front desk upon every visit.
