City of Welland parts ways with CAO Steve Zorbas

As of July 18, 2023, Steve Zorbas is no longer working as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Welland.

Further information regarding the appointment of an interim CAO, and the selection of a new CAO, will be provided as available.

Zorbas was the City's full-time CAO from July 2021 and had served as the interim CAO from September 2020 to July 2021. Prior to the CAO role, Zorbas was the general manager of corporate services and chief financial officer for the city, beginning his tenure in Welland in 2014.

The City would like to express their appreciation to Mr. Zorbas for his dedication and contributions to the City of Welland.
