Welland community invited to provide input on strategic plan through digital survey, open houses
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | Apr 20, 2023
The City of Welland is seeking input from its residents on the draft Strategic Plan (2023-2026). The plan outlines the city's vision and priorities for the next four years, seeking input from residents, businesses, service agencies and not-for-profit organizations, to ensure the plan reflects your collective needs and aspirations.
The Strategic Plan is an important document that will guide the city's decision-making and resource allocation over the next four years. It includes key priorities such as improving health and wellbeing, economic growth, and livability while promoting the need to care for our environment. Welland is committed to ensuring that the plan is comprehensive, inclusive, and reflects the diverse perspectives and needs of all.
Mayor Frank Campion stated, "The Strategic Plan is a critical document that will guide our city's future. We want to ensure that it reflects the needs and aspirations of all. I encourage everyone to take the time to provide their input and help us build a stronger, more vibrant community."
Residents can provide their input on the draft plan by attending a community open house or by submitting your feedback online through a quick survey. We encourage all residents to participate in the process and help shape the future of Welland.
