Notice of intention to remove the holding symbol from the H-RM-109. H-RM-110, and H-RH-111 Zones. The lands subject to the H-RM-109, H-RM-110, and H-RH-111 Zones are legally described as Part Township Lot 229 & 230, Former City of Thorold, Parts 3, 4 on 59R-1742 and Parts 1 & 2 on 59R-2895, S/T RO345094, S/T RO357411, S/T RL734059, S/T RO778444; Parcel 229-3 Section 59 Thorold; Part 3 on 59R-2784;S/T Easement in Favour of Welland Hydro-Electric System Corp. Over Part 1 Plan 59R-11677 & Parts 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9 on Plan 59R-8977 as in SN19072; Parcel F-2 Section M75; Block F Plan M75 Except Part 1 on 59R-4566, in the City of Welland, municipally known as 205 Lancaster Drive. A key map showing the subject lands is included for your information.
Take notice that, on or after January 14, 2025, the Council of the City of Welland will consider a by-law to remove the holding symbol from the H-RM-109, H-RM-110, and H-RH-111 Zones. The removal of the holding symbol will permit the zoning provisions of the RM-109, RM-110, and RH-111 Zones to be accessed and permit the development of the site with a residential complex consisting of a mix of townhouse dwellings, two-unit dwellings and apartment buildings, internal roadways, parks and open space, and small-scale commercial uses.
