We are currently recruiting to fill One vacancy on the City of Welland Heritage Advisory committee

Your application should describe what assets you feel you can bring to the Committee.

The purpose of this committee is:

• To establish criteria for the evaluation of properties of architectural and/or historical value or interest.
• To prepare and maintain a list of properties and areas worthy of conservation.
• To advise Council on means of conserving heritage properties and areas.
• To advise Council on current heritage conservation legislation to conserve heritage property and areas.
• To administer properties acquired by the municipality under Section 36 of the Ontario Heritage Act.

All applications must be on the prescribed form and should include a brief resume.

Applications must be received in the Office of the City Clerk on or before 4 p.m., December 31, 2024.
