Canada Day Road closures – July 1, 2023

Temporary closure of King Street

Please note the temporary closure of King Street from Division Street to Regent Street for Canada Day festivities from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Emergency Services will have access. Avenue Place residents will have access only.

The detour route will utilize West Main Street, Prince Charles Drive, Lincoln Street and Crowland Avenue.

Temporary closure of Cross Street

Also, please be aware of the temporary closure of Cross Street at Courthouse Lane, for the Canada Day fireworks closing Merritt Island for public Safety. The closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Emergency Services will have access. Niagara Region will have access to the Niagara Region Treatment Plant.
