Human Resources
A department ensuring a full spectrum of human resources services are provided most efficiently and effectively to the Corporation. On an ad hoc basis, these services are also provided to the Welland Public Library and Welland Hydro.
Responsibilities of the human resources department
To foster consistent, fair, and equitable employee and labour relations in the workplace. Human resources defines, implements, and monitors the activities influencing the effectiveness — competency, motivation, and productivity — of employees as they work towards achieving organizational goals and objectives.
